Hybrid funding – good practice examples

Many countries in Europe contribute monthly to vulnerable households to cover their basic needs including energy. A significant part of these monthly contributions could be saved by coherent investments into energy efficiency. The SMARTER project gathered best European practices in the field of green/energy efficiency projects suitable for addressing the issue of energy poverty. Special focus was given to hybrid funding – projects testing a wide variety of financing solutions and their blending.
