Julia Martínez

Director

Julia Martínez is a biologist and holds a degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She also completed a residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. She has vast experience in management, research, and coordination of projects in the fields of energy efficiency, climate action, technologies for emissions reduction, and public policy. She has worked with the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources and the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change, where she coordinated national climate action strategies for Mexico presented to the UNFCCC. For her leadership in energy efficiency and climate change, Julia has received various national and international honors.
